Looking for an exciting new bookkeeping position?  Our client is hiring a Full-Charge Bookkeeper position in their Delano, MN office.  In this position you will compile and classify records, verify and maintain data and payments, develop and implement record keeping systems and help us with our sales and local taxes. Our client provides printers with the most cutting-edge performance, improved safety and minimal environmental impact in the screen printing and graphic arts industry.  This is an exciting opportunity in a unique, fun working environment!

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Prepares and processes daily cash and credit card deposits and fills out cash control sheet daily.
  • Reviews and posts receipts and payments to appropriate ledgers, spreadsheets, records, and databases.
  • Prepares, sorts, copies, files, and mails invoices, receipts, checks, correspondence, and other requested items.
  • Prepares accounts payable checks.
  • Researches and processes charge backs, returns, refunds, freight charges, cost of lost or damaged goods, bad checks, and similar items.
  • Answers accounts payable and receivable inquiries and follows up.
  • Prepares analysis and summaries of accounts.
  • Monitors accounts payable and receivable to ensure payments are accurate and timely.
  • Reconciles bank statements.
  • Assist in monthly and annual closings.
  • Develops and implements record keeping systems, forms, policies, and procedures related to billing, processing payments, and other accounts payable and receivable activities.
  • Develops and pursues collection strategies, working to keep Average Days on Aging Report less than 40 days.
  • State and Local Taxes (SALT)

Job Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma required
  • 3 - 5 years relevant work experience

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint & Outlook
  • Minimum of three years' experience with an ERP system; Familiarity with Sage100C (MAS 90) software a plus.
  • Proficient understanding of general ledger activities
  • Basic understanding of the process flow in ERP system
  • Work well in a team-oriented organization.
  • Able to work efficiently in a high energy environment.
  • Must have strong multitasking skills
  • Have strong prioritizing skills.
